COVID-19 Building Closure
The Stanislaus County Law Library is closed to the public effective March 19th but we are still commtted to getting vital legal information to you! Library staff will be monitoring our live-chat and firstname.lastname@example.org email during this time. We can provide limited reference and document delivery service via email and snail-mail if needed. WestLaw has generously given staff work from home access to our legal databases so we provide you with case law forms and search results. Our commitment to our patrons and community is as stong as ever so reach out if you need us we are still here.
During this time of uncertainty and closures we are working to serve you. We have partnered with Pure Chat to provide you with real-time chat servies as we are able. During our closed hours, please email us and we will try to respond within 24 hours (longer on weekends and holidays). If you can’t reach us, Law Librarians throughout the state are manning the “Ask Now” service and have expanded service to include Saturday hours.

Legal information providers CEB and Westlaw are offering law library patrons temporary access to their legal datbases fom your home or office. You do not need to be an attorney to gain temporary access and registration is required. Details are located on our Legal Databases Page .
